Sauted Vegetables with Turmeric

Ingredients:
- - Zucchini
- - Yellow and red bell peppers
- - Potatoes
- - One shallot
- - 2 Tomatoes for sauce
- - 2 Teaspoons of turmeric powder
- - salt
- - a pinch of pepper
Preparation:
In a heated pan with a little 'oil sauté the sliced shallots, add the zucchini and potatoes cut into cubes. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt and cook on medium heat. After 10 mn, add the peppers cut into strip or slices and continue to cook for another 10 mn, mixing from time to time. Add the turmeric powder and pepper only at the end, mix well and it's ready to be served.
Curiosity
The Madagascan Minister of Health suggest to combine always the use of turmeric with a pinch of pepper for a better assimilation of the active ingredients of turmeric.
